Sedalia Police reports 11-17-19

Sedalia Police conducted a traffic stop for expired registration Thursday at 12:15 a.m. at 14th and South Park. A computer check revealed that the driver, 36-year-old Ronda L. Simmons, was driving while suspended and was also wanted on a Boone County warrant for probation violation. She was taken into custody and transported to the Pettis County Jail on a $10,000 cash or surety bond. She now has a Nov. 18 court date.


 

Sedalia Police conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle with no license plate at 1:41 a.m. Friday at 318 W. Broadway. A computer check revealed that the driver, 21-year-old Chase A. Hayworth of Sedalia, was wanted on a Pettis County warrant. He was taken to the Pettis County jail on a $1,500 bond.


 

Sedalia Police conducted a warrant check in the 1800 block of E. Broadway Thursday at 9:30 p.m. and arrested 19-year-old Mikayla Kaye Droege on a Municipal warrant with a $60 bond. She now has a Dec. 4 court date.


 

Sedalia Police conducted a warrant check in the 400 block of Albright Court Thursday at 8:30 p.m. and arrested 38-year-old Sandra Brooke White on two Municipal warrants with a $130 bond. She now has a Dec. 4 court date.


 

Sedalia Police conducted a warrant check in the 1200 block of S. Stewart at 8:42 p.m. Thursday and arrested 61-year-old Nancy J. Keorlet on a Municipal warrant with a $60 bond. She now has a Dec. 4 court date.


 

Sedalia Police conducted a warrant check in the 1800 block of S. Kentucky at 7:36 p.m. Thursday and arrested 63-year-old Nolan R. Simon on a Municipal warrant with a $60 bond. He now has a Nov. 27 court date.


 

On Thursday morning, Bothwell Regional Health Center, 601 E. 14th, reported that a suspect broke a gate to the doctor's parking lot, causing $100 of damage.


 

On Nov. 14, a report of a sex crime was taken at Probation and Paraole, 205 Thompson Road.


 

On Nov. 13 at 10:25 p.m. , Sedalia Police conducted a traffic stop at Broadway and Oak Grove Lane on a vehicle that was speeding. A computer check revealed that 19-year-old Bryce Leon Johnson of Sedalia was wanted on a Municipal warrant. He was taken to the Pettis County Jail on a $60 bond. He now has a Nov. 27 court date.


 

Sedalia Police conducted a traffic stop at Jackson and Engineer for failure to signal around 7:20 p.m. Wednesday. The driver, 41-year-old Virgil L. Taylor of Sedalia, was found to be driving while suspended. Taylor was taken to the Pettis County Jail, where he was booked and released with a Dec. 4 court date.


 

On Nov. 13, a man reported a hit-and-run that occurred Nov. 11 near 14th and Olive. The suspect has not been identified.


 

On Wednesday, a Sedalia woman reported an unauthorized $320 transaction on her bank account.


 

On Nov. 13, Sedalia Police conducted a traffic stop at 17th and Harrison for failure to signal and found that the driver, 24-year-old Webbster Ron Archuleta, of Colorado Springs, Colo., was driving while revoked and had no valid driver's license.


 

On Nov. 10, a woman reported a suitcase containing clothing, electronics and jewelry was stolen from her vehicle while attending the first day of the Missouri State Fair, 2503 W. 16th, on Aug. 8. The contents of the suitcase was valued at $10,549.26.
