The following Sedalia Police reports are from the morning of Tuesday, Jan. 15, 2013.

Sedalia Police Find Drugs

Sedalia Police were on patrol in the area of East 5th and South Engineer on Saturday evening (Jan. 12) at 11:50.  Sedalia police saw a man that was walking, who was searched after consent. Nothing illegal was found on the man, but Sedalia Police located a baggy of marijuana that was dropped nearby that was linked to the suspect. Sedalia Police arrested Richard Beaulin-Plona for possession of marijuana.

Sedalia Police Investigate a Case of Fraudulent Charges

A man in the 2400 Block of South Margaret reported to Sedalia Police that someone had been making purchases with his debit card without his permission between Jan. 6 and Jan. 8.

Sedalia Police Receive Report of Animal Bite

Sedalia Police received a report of an animal bite on Saturday evening (Jan. 12). A 20-year-old man in the 1600 Block of West Broadway reported that he was bitten by a stray cat that he found in his basement. The man tried to catch the cat to remove it and was bit on his left thumb. The man was able to get cat out before going to Bothwell Regional Health Center.

A man reported to Sedalia Police that his vehicle was struck by another vehicle while it was parked in the area of 7th and Center on Saturday afternoon (Jan. 12).

Sedalia Police Make Several Arrests

Sedalia Police arrested Paul Robinson for driving while revoked, bond set at $531.50 cash/surety.

Sedalia Police arrested Michelle Clay for having a Clay County warrant and resisting arrest, bond set at $500 cash.

Sedalia Police arrested Jerry Iman for a failure to appear for possession of a controlled substance.

Sedalia Police arrested Gerald Durrill for having an expired vehicle registration, defective tail lights and driving while revoked.

Sedalia Police arrested Tiffany Moore for burglary in the 2nd for stealing items from Walmart on Jan. 14.
