Sedalia Woman Arrested for Assault on SPD Officer

Sedalia Police responded to the 300 block of McAnally Court for a physical disturbance Monday afternoon.

Upon arriving, contact was made with both parties.

A primary physical aggressor was determined and she was placed under arrest.

While making the arrest, the suspect resisted and began kicking an Officer. She had to be restrained further.

Stella Ray Oetting, 30, of Sedalia, was arrested for felony Domestic Assault in the 3rd Degree, felony Resisting Arrest, and Assault in the 4th Degree.

Oetting was transported to the Pettis County Jail to be placed on a 24-hour hold.
