Sedalia Woman Charged With 3rd Degree Domestic Assault

Sedalia Police arrested 69-year-old Cynthia L. Trumpp of Sedalia on charges of 3rd Degree Domestic Assault after responding to the 700 block of W. 5th on Thursday night, June 7.

According to a report, officers responded to a disturbance there and contacted the parties, who said they were just arguing and they would separate for the evening. However, after officers left, the victim called police and said that she hit him in the side of the head with a glass object.

Officers returned to the scene and discovered the victim had marks to the right side of his face. The suspect claimed the victim did it to himself. The suspect was then taken into custody and transported to the Pettis County Jail on a 24-hour hold, pending the filing of state charges of 3rd Degree Domestic Assault.
