Sedalia Woman, Two Granddaughters Injured in ATV Accident
A woman and two of her granddaughters were injured in an ATV accident that occurred Sunday afternoon in Morgan County.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, 57-year-old Linda L. Sanders of Sedalia was operating a 2013 Polaris ATV in a private field just off US Highway 50, one mile east of Morgan County Drive at 2:25 p.m., when the ATV struck a tree.
Sanders suffered serious injuries, while a seven-year-old female juvenile from Smithton suffered minor injuries. Both were transported by ambulance to University Hospital in Columbia.
A 10-year-old female juvenile from Smithton suffered serious injuries and was Life Flighted by MU Air Care to University Hospital in Columbia.
