Sleepy Sedalia Driver Almost Hits Pedestrian

Sedalia Police responded to 16th and Engineer to take a report from a man who said a driver who was asleep behind the wheel while driving, almost hit him while the pedestrian was taking a walk around noon on Friday.

The driver, later identified as 39-year-old Fred E. Sisemore of Sedalia, was located at 9th and New York. He was charged with driving while suspended and transported to the Pettis County Jail. While there, he was found to be in possession of marijuana.

Sisemore was also charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.
