A fire that occurred overnight at a Sedalia business has been deemed suspicious.

According to a report from the Sedalia Police Department, officers responded to Raynor Garage Door Sales, 1510 West Main, at 2:03 a.m. Wednesday.

The fire damaged the front of the business, and was extinguished by Sedalia Fire. The SFD called the State Fire Marshall to the scene to investigate.

According to Fire Chief Matt Irwin, "all accidental causes have been ruled out and it is being listed as an incendiary fire.

The Fire Marshall has not listed an actual cause of the fire at this point and it is still under investigation. No injuries were reported with the fire," he said.
