Smithton Man Injured in Harley Davidson Wreck
Two Smithton men were involved in a motorcycle accident Saturday afternoon in Morgan County, that resulted in one being transported to an area hospital.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that two eastbound Harley Davidsons were on Brendell Boulevard, at Route Y at 2:55 p.m. when a 2006 Softail drove into the rear of a 1997 Wide Glide, causing both cycles to tip over and skid to a halt.
60-year-old Franklin D. Rogers of Smithton suffered moderate injuries after he was ejected from his motorcycle, and was transported by ambulance to Lake Regional Hospital for treatment.
The other driver, 31-year-old Dustin T. Rogers of Smithton, was reportedly uninjured, according to the Patrol.
