SPD Investigating Gunshot Incident Involving Teenage Juveniles

Officers responded to the 2400 block of W. 3rd Street in reference to a gunshot victim Thursday evening.

The investigation revealed that the call came in at 5:27 p.m. Thursday, and the incident involved teenage juveniles. All parties involved have been identified and are cooperating with the investigation. The injured juvenile was transported to a regional hospital for treatment and is in stable condition.

An investigation is ongoing, the Criminal Investigations Bureau is working with the Pettis County Juvenile Office to determine any potential juvenile-related offenses.
