Stover Man Injured in ATV Rollover

A Stover man was injured in an ATV rollover accident that occurred Wednesday afternoon in Morgan County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that a southbound 1998 Honda Fourtrax driven by 40-year-old Joshua C. Griffey of Stover, was on Ivy Bend Road, 50 feet north of Bear Road at 2:38 p.m. The report says that Griffey was being inattentive.

The ATV crossed the center line and traveled off the left side of the road's edge. It then struck a ditch and overturned several times.

Griffey suffered serious injuries and was flown by MU Air to University Hospital for treatment.
