Suspect Arrested After Kicking In Front Door of Residence

Sedalia Police arrested 35-year-old Gary Douglas Horn of Sedalia at 1:55 a.m. Sunday  after officers responded to the 500 block of North Quincy on a disturbance call.

According to a report, suspect Horn left the area prior to officers' arrival, but was later located at Quincy and Cooper, where a traffic stop was conducted.

Investigation revealed the suspect was throwing property at the residence his wife was staying at for the evening.

The suspect then allegedly kicked in the door and entered the residence. The residents then showed the intruder a firearm, and Horn promptly left the area.

Charges of 1st degree burglary, 1st degree trespassing, 2nd degree property damage and 1st degree harassment were submitted to the Pettis County Prosecutor.
