On Nov. 12, Sedalia Police arrested 28-year-old Taryn Elizabeth Dana Gill of Syracuse after an incident that occurred on Nov. 7.

According to a report, officers responded to the 2600 block of E. 16th on a disturbance, where the victim said a known suspect assaulted her and damaged her phone so she couldn't contact police.

A report was filed, and on Tuesday, Gill was located in the 100 block of South Lamine and arrested.

She was placed on a 24-hour hold pending the filing of formal charges for felony 3rd degree assault, 2nd degree property damage, and tampering with a witness in a felony prosecution.
