Two teens were injured in a one-vehicle accident that occurred late Friday night in Johnson County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported that 18-year-old Ryan F. Coke was the driver of a westbound 1990 Nissan on Route BB, south of SW 101 Road in Johnson County at 11:58 p.m., when the vehicle traveled off the roadway, struck a culvert, went airborne and overturned.

Coke suffered moderate injuries and was transported by EMS to Western Missouri Medical Center in Warrensburg for treatment. His passenger, 17-year-old Luke T. Dickhaus of Eureka, suffered minor injuries and refused medical treatment, according to the report. Both were wearing safety devices, the report stated.

The Nissan was totaled.
