
Three Arrested by SPD After Serving Search Warrant
The Sedalia Police Department's Drug Enforcement Unit served a search warrant at 416 South Grand at 10:44 a.m. Thursday.
Inside were six adults, and a search revealed the presence of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. Outside was a stolen vehicle out of Gardner, Kan. A search of the vehicle revealed many stolen items from the KC Metro area, as well as various rounds of ammunition a a short-barreled rifle.
Three suspects were arrested and taken to the Pettis County Jail.
Brittany Swearingen, 28, was wanted on a Pettis County warrant with a $50.50 bond.
Joshua Richey, 22, was charged with 1st degree tampering with a motor vehicle and possession of an illegal weapon.
Anastasia Mann, 22, was wanted on a Cooper County warrant with a $25,000 cash or surety bond, a Benton County warrant with no bond, and three Pettis County warrants with bond amounts of $25,000 cash or surety, $2,250 cash, and $2500 surety.
