On Thursday at approximately 5:30 p.m., the Pettis County Sheriff’s Office, Mid-Missouri Drug Task Force, and the Sedalia Police Department’s Tactical Entry Unit served a search warrant at 204 Highway H in Hughesville.

The warrant was the culmination of a lengthy investigation into methamphetamine distribution throughout Pettis County, according to a facebook post by Sheriff Brad Anders.

“Based on the calculated risk, Pettis County requested mutual aid assistance from SPD in the service of this warrant. Chief Wirt, without hesitation, agreed to assist,” Anders said.

Upon entry, SPD secured the residence and occupants within.

A search ensued resulting in approximately half pound of methamphetamine, numerous syringes, assorted drug paraphernalia, and a stolen handgun reported out of Sedalia.

There was also approximately $1,200 in cash seized as possible proceeds from the distribution of methamphetamine.

Taken into custody are the following, as well as the charges being sought through Pettis County Prosecutor Phillip Sawyer:

Christopher Kyle Naylor - 1st Degree Drug Trafficking, Possession of a Firearm by Persons Prohibited, Possession of a Stolen Firearm

Jasmine Hagen - 2nd Degree Drug Trafficking

Desaray Pycke - Possession of a Controlled Substance

“I appreciate the professionalism and cooperation of all those involved. Very well done!” commented Anders.
