Three Clinton residents were injured in a one-vehicle accident that occurred Monday afternoon in Henry County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that a westbound 1998 Ford Mustang, driven by 23-year-old Skyler O. Portman of Clinton, was on Missouri 18, one-half mile west of NW 401 Road (west of Clinton) around 12:30 p.m., when the vehicle traveled off the right side of the roadway and the driver overcorrected, causing the Mustang to veer off the left side and strike a guardrail. The vehicle then returned to the roadway and traveled off the right side again before coming to rest.
