Three people were injured in a two-vehicle crash that occurred in Clay County Friday morning.

According to the MSHP, a northbound 2007 Ford Mustang driven by 24-year-old Kayla A. Krehemker of Excelsior Springs, was on US 69 at Cameron Road (near Mosby) when she pulled in front of a southbound 2005 Honda Accord driven by 22-year-old Spencer R. Williams of Excelsior Springs, causing the Accord to roll over and catch fire at 6:50 a.m.

Krehemker suffered moderate injuries and was transported to Liberty Hospital.

Williams and her passenger, 23-year-old Joshua L. Dubrel of Excelsior Springs, both suffered serious injuries and were also transported to Liberty Hospital.

It was unknown if any of the occupants were wearing seat belts, the report noted.

The Mustang had extensive damage, while the Honda was totaled.
