Three people were injured in a three-vehicle wreck that occurred Wednesday in Morgan County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that an eastbound 1996 GMC Sierra 1500, driven by 56-year-old Jonathan L. Noegel of Slater, was stopped on Highway C, waiting to make a left turn around 4:15 p.m., when an eastbound 2014 Mazda 3, driven by 23-year-old Carolyn J. Good of Castorland, New York.

The rear of the Mazda rotated into the westbound lane and struck a westbound 2021 GMC Yukon, driven by 32-year-old Sarah C. Hammond of Russellville, Mo.

Three people in the GMC Sierra 1500 were injured, including the driver with moderate injuries. Noegel was transported by Mid-Mo Ambulance to Lake Regional Hospital.

67-year-old Jackie A. Tackitt of Cole Camp suffered minor injuries and was also transported by Mid-Mo Ambulance to Lake Regional Hospital.

59-year-old Steven W. Evans of Cole Camp suffered serious injuries and was flown to University of Missouri Hospital by MU Air.

The GMC Yukon had moderate damage, while the GMC Sierra and the Mazda 3 were totaled and towed from the scene.
