Three people were injured on Thanksgiving Day when a Cole Camp man slammed into the back of a pickup in Benton County.

According to the MSHP, 23-year-old Chandler S. McCoy was the driver of a westbound 2013 Chevy Cruze on Highway 52 at Moriarty Road, when at noon he struck the rear of a westbound 2007 Ford F-150 driven by 24-year-old Tyler W. Marquess of Mora.

McCoy was sent to Bothwell Regional Health Center with moderate injuries, while Marquess and his passenger, 22-year-old Shaila J. Zimmer of Mora suffered minor injuries and were also transported to Bothwell. Both drivers were wearing a safety device.
