
Two Arrested at Sedalia Motel, Charged with Possession of Stolen Property
On Thursday, July 8, Sedalia Police stopped a vehicle and located methamphetamine, cutting tools and a catalytic converter inside.
Information was obtained that Room 122 at American Inn, 1217 S. Limit Ave., contained more stolen catalytic converters.
A search warrant was obtained for the room, whereupon four more stolen catalytic converters were located along with various tools used to steal catalytic converters. Two of the converters were confirmed to be have been stolen from a Sedalia business which had just reported the theft earlier in the day.
29-year-old Wayne Coslet and 23-year old Charity Dixon were located in the room in possession of the stolen property and were placed under arrest, pending charges.
