Two Arrested in Sedalia After Brief Pursuit

Pettis County deputies and a Mid-Mo Drug Task Force Detective attempted to conduct a traffic stop on a vehicle near US 50 and New York on Friday.

The driver failed to stop.

A pursuit then began east on 50. The driver, identified as Tristan Wesley Dawson, began to pick up speed on 50 until he pulled into a parking lot near where an SPD officer was parked on Harding.

Deputies and Sedalia officers took Dawson into custody as well as his passenger, Adam Moseley. Deputies located a large amount of a crystal substance and drug paraphernalia inside the vehicle.

Dawson was charged with felony resisting arrest and possession of a controlled substance. His bond was $15,000. Moseley was charged with possession of a controlled substance. His bond was $7,500.
