Two Holden residents were injured after a Jeep they were in crashed on US 58 Highway Sunday afternoon in Johnson County.

According to the MSHP, 59-year-old Ronald C. Davis of Holden was the driver of a westbound 2008 Jeep on Missouri 58, at SW County Road 601 at 3:25 p.m., Sunday, when the vehicle traveled off the roadway, struck an embankment, then vaulted and hit a fence.

Davis had minor injuries and was treated at the scene. His passenger, 59-year-old Karen R. Davis, also of Holden, suffered moderate injuries and was transported by JCAD to Western Missouri Medical Center. Both were wearing seat belts at the time of the crash.

The Jeep was totaled and towed by Tip Top Tow.
