Two people were injured in a two-vehicle crash that occurred in Cole County Thursday morning.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that a southbound 1998 GMC Sierra, driven by 40-year-old Kelly D. Newcomb of Jamestown, was at US 50 at Lookout Trail just before 7:30 a.m., when he pulled into the path of a westbound 2016 Audi Q5, driven by 38-year-old Lana T. Chiem of California.

The Audi struck the Sierra on the driver's side. The Sierra then rotated clockwise and caused the Audi to strike the passenger side of the GMC. The Audi then traveled off the left side of the roadway, struck a sign, and came to rest in the median.
