Two people were injured in two-vehicle wreck that occurred in Pettis County on Friday evening.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, a northbound 2015 Chrysler 200, driven by a 16-year-old female juvenile from Sedalia, pulled directly into the path of a westbound 2006 Chevy Malibu, driven by 52-year-old Ali M. Hashemy of Newburg, Ind., at 6:45 p.m. at Highway 50 and Route 127.

Hashemy and a passenger in the Malibu, 68-year-old Patricia L. Hashemy, both of Newburg, Ind., suffered minor injuries and were treated and released at the scene by PCAD.

The juvenile was reportedly uninjured.

Both vehicles had extensive damage and were towed from the scene by InMotion Towing.

Pettis County deputies assisted the four Troopers at the scene.
