Two people were injured in a two-car crash that occurred Thursday afternoon at Rebar Road in Pettis County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that a northbound 1998 Toyota Camry driven by 73-year-old Jose Barcenas Axume, of Marshall, failed to stop at the stop light at Rebar Road and US Highway 65 at 3:03 p.m., and struck a westbound 2018 Ford F-350 driven by 32-year-old George A. Conner of Eminence.

The Camry then ran off the road and struck a utility pole.

Both drivers, who were wearing their seat belt at the time of the crash, suffered minor injuries and refused medical treatment at the scene.

The Ford had extensive damage, while the Camry was totaled.

Pettis County deputies assisted the Patrol at the scene.
