Two Johnson County residents were injured in a two-vehicle wreck that occurred in Johnson County Monday.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, an eastbound 2012 Ford driven by 42-year-old Jeremy L. Sisk of Holden failed to stop at a stop sign at Missouri 13 and Route BB at 5 a.m. and pulled into the path of a northbound 1999 Dodge driven by 60-year-old Johnnie L. McCormick of Warrensburg. The Dodge struck the Ford on the driver's side.

Sisk suffered serious injuries, while McCormick suffered moderate injuries. Both were transported to Western Missouri Medical Center for treatment by JCAD. Both were wearing a safety device.

The Ford had extensive damage, while the Dodge had moderate damage. Both vehicles were towed from the scene.

Johnson County deputies assisted the Patrol at the scene.
