Two men were injured in a one-vehicle accident that occurred Thursday evening in Boone County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that a northbound 1998 Nissan Pathfinder, driven by 25-year-old Kialle A. Perkins of Holts Summit, was on US 63, six-tenths of a mile east of Zumwalt Road at 6 p.m., when the vehicle ran off the right side of the roadway. The driver then overcorrected, ran into the median, and struck the median cables.

Perkins suffered minor injuries, while his passenger, 24-year-old Aaron A. Williams of Clinton suffered moderate injuries. Both refused treatment on scene, according to the report. Neither were wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash, the report said.

The Nissan was totaled.
