Two men were injured in a two-vehicle accident that occurred Tuesday night in Miller County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that a westbound 2006 Honda Element, driven by 30-year-old Anthony D. Yingling of Eldon, failed to yield to a westbound 2015 Chevy Camaro, driven by 32-year-old Charles F. Beesley, III, of Cole Camp, at US 54 and Route FF (northeast of Eldon)  around 8 p.m.

Both drivers suffered minor injuries. Beesley was transported to Lake Regional Hospital by Miller County EMS, while Yingling refused treatment.

The Honda had moderate damage, while the Chevy had extensive damage.

Miller County Deputies and Moreau Fire assisted the Patrol.

Yingling was later arrested by the Patrol at 9:27 p.m. and charged with felony driving while intoxicated resulting in injury, felony leaving the scene of an accident resulting in injury, failure to yield, and possession of marijuana. Yingling was taken to the Miller County Jail on a 24-hour hold.
