Two Sedalians were injured in a two-vehicle accident that occurred at Highway 50 and Route W early Tuesday morning.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, a northbound 2006 Chevy Silverado, driven by 68-year-old Shelly R. Goodson of Sedalia, failed to yield while making a left turn, to an eastbound 2003 Pontiac Sunfire, driven by 46-year-old Layard W. Taylor of Sedalia. The Silverado was then struck by the Sunfire at 5:44 a.m.

Both drivers suffered moderate injuries, and were transported to Bothwell Regional Center for treatment.
