Morgan County Sheriff's deputies recently arrested two Stover residents on several drug charges.

A press release from the Morgan County Sheriff's Department indicates that on April 25, deputies went to a residence on North Circle Road, north of Stover, to affect the arrest of 58-year old Lenita Ginger on an outstanding warrant from the Missouri Department of Probation and Parole.

Pursuant to the investigation, authorities say Ginger was found hiding in the residence.

After a consensual search of the residence, authorities reportedly seized methamphetamine, marijuana, opioid pills, suspected heroin and Fentanyl, along with drug paraphernalia used in the distribution of narcotics.

Lenita Ginger and her husband, 54-year old Todd Ginger, of Stover, were arrested and taken to the Morgan County Jail.

They were each charged with three felony counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance.
