Two Warsaw residents were injured in a three-vehicle crash that occurred Thursday morning in Benton County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that a southbound 2009 Ford Ranger and a southbound 2006 Porche 911 were stopped in traffic due to road construction on US 65 at the Osage River Bridge around 8:15 a.m., when a southbound 2018 Jeep Wrangler, driven by 52-year-old James W. Phillips of Warsaw, struck the rear of the Ford Ranger, which struck the Porche. The Jeep then crossed the center lane and came to rest, blocking the roadway. The Ford Ranger overturned.

Phillips suffered moderate injuries, while his occupant, a 2-year-old male, suffered minor injuries. Both were transported by Warsaw-Lincoln Ambulance to Lake Regional Hospital for treatment.
