Versailles Man Injured at 65 & Grand

A Versailles man suffered minor injuries Monday night when a pickup failed to stop at a stop sign and he struck the vehicle.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported that a northbound 2004 Ford F-150 failed to stop at US 65 and North Grand and was struck by a southbound 1995 Ford Sport driven by 49-year-old Mark J. Richmond of Versailles. Richmond, who was wearing a safety device, refused treatment at the scene. The name of the other driver was not released.

The Sport was totaled, while the F-150 had moderate damage.

Pettis County deputies assisted the Patrol at the scene.
