Versailles Woman Injured After Honda Strikes Tree

A Versailles woman was injured on Tuesday afternoon when the car she was driving struck a tree.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported that an eastbound 2000 Honda Civic CRV, driven by 31-year-old Jessica B. Calton of Versailles, slid off McCasland Road, a quarter mile west of Ritchie Road in Morgan County, and struck a tree at 3:08 p.m.

Calton suffered moderate injuries and was transported by ambulance to St. Mary's Health Center in Jeff City for treatment. She was wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.

The Honda had moderate damage and was towed from the scene.
