Warrensburg PD Swears in New Officer

Sophie Winger was sworn in as Warrensburg's newest police officer on Monday afternoon, July 31, in the City Council Chambers.

Winger, a life-long Warrensburg resident, was sworn in by City Clerk, Cindy Gabel (left).

Winger (center) is a 2015 graduate of Warrensburg High School and a 2017 graduate of the Central Missouri Police Academy.

Her father Marvin Winger (right) pinned her badge on her uniform during the ceremony.
