Warrensburg Man Injured in Henry County Accident

A Warrensburg man was injured in a one-vehicle crash that occurred Tuesday in Henry County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that a southbound 1995 Freightliner, driven by 45-year-old Brandon Shippy of Warrensburg, was on Route N at Route O at 12:42 p.m., when the truck traveled off the roadway and struck an embankment.

Shippy suffered serious injuries, and was flown to Research Medical Center in Kansas City by Life Flight Eagle.

The Freightliner had moderate damage.

Urich Fire and MoDOT assisted the Patrol at the scene.
