Warrensburg Man Injured When Jeep Encounters Tree

A Warrensburg man was injured in a one-vehicle accident that occurred early this morning in Johnson County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that a 2009 Jeep, driven by 56-year-old David M. Heiner of Warrensburg, was on County Road Old Highway 13, 269 feet west of Business 13 at 1:19 a.m., when the Jeep traveled off the roadway and struck a tree.

Heiner suffered serious injuries, and was transported to Research Medical Center by JCAD for treatment.

The Jeep was totaled.

Johnson County Deputies assisted the Patrol.
