
Warsaw Man Totals Vehicle, Refuses Medical Treatment
A Warsaw man was injured Wednesday evening after his vehicle struck a tree.
The Missouri State Highway patrol reports that a 2013 Ford driven by 62-year-old James C. Talamo was northbound on Missouri 7, two-tenths of a mile South of Ranch Road in Benton County at 7:45 p.m., when the vehicle traveled off the roadway and struck a tree.
Talamo refused treatment at the scene, even though the Patrol reported he had serious injuries.
The Ford was totaled.
Talamo was later arrested by the Patrol at 9:16 p.m. and charged with DWI, driving while suspended and a lane violation.
Benton County deputies assisted the Patrol at the scene.
