Warsaw Woman Injured After Jeep Strikes Tree
A Warsaw woman was injured Tuesday morning after the car she was driving struck a tree in Benton County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that a 2013 Jeep Patriot driven by 64-year-old Barbara S. Lomax of Warsaw was westbound on Lost Valley Road, west of Copeland Drive at 11:26 a.m., when the vehicle traveled off the left side of the roadway and struck a tree.
Lomax suffered serious injuries and was transported by Life Flight Eagle to Research Hospital for treatment. She was wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.
The Jeep was totaled.
Benton County deputies assisted the Patrolmen at the scene.
