Warsaw Woman Injured in Benton County Crash

A Warsaw woman was injured Sunday evening in Benton County in a one-vehicle crash.

36-year-old Courtney M. Phares of Warsaw was the driver of a northbound 2007 Chevy Suburban on US 65, north of Raven Road, at 6:40 p.m., when the vehicle traveled off the right side of the roadway, slid and struck a barbed-wire fence.

Phares was treated at the scene and released. She was wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.

The Suburban had minor damage.
