Wet Pavement Causes Lincoln to Skid, Injuring KC Woman
A Sedalia man was involved in a two-car crash that injured a Kansas City woman in Morgan County Saturday morning.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol report that a westbound 2006 Lincoln Town Car, driven by 86-year-old Benjamin P. Sherr of Sedalia, was on US 50, 2608 feet west of old Route 50 at 9:05 a.m., when he lost traction on the wet pavement and collided with an eastbound 2013 Chevy Traverse, driven by 33-year-old Karla M. Young of Kansas City.
Young suffered minor injuries, and was transported to Bothwell Regional Health Center by Mid-Mo Ambulance for treatment. She was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash, according to the report.
