Sedalia man faces multiple drug related charges following a traffic stop

At 9:40 Monday night Sedalia Police stopped a vehicle with a license plate light out. A subsequent search revealed the driver had methamphetamine and marijuana in his shoe. The suspect identified as 65-year-old Bruce Jay Auwater of Sedalia admitted he was taking the drugs to another subject. He was arrested and transported to the Pettis County Jail, and placed on 24-hour hold pending state charges including possession and distributing drugs.

Intoxicated man arrested last Thursday after running his vehicle into a ditch

Just after 11pm Thursday the 3rd of December Sedalia Police received a report of an accident in the 1200 block of West Main. Upon arrival the officers found a vehicle in a ditch near the railroad tracks. The police report states the driver 22-year-old Austin L. Moore of Sedalia was found to be intoxicated. After Moore was cleared by Bothwell Regional Health Center he was transported to the Pettis County Jail pending formal charges of driving while intoxicated.

Local Car Dealer reports a “D-Tag” missing

On Monday Wes-Mo Auto at 3117 South Limit reported a dealer plate # D5321 has been lost from a vehicle.
