Sedalia’s Weekend Events – Weekend of August 10
While I know that alot of us are headed out to the State Fair, and we have some good stuff here on the website to tell you all about what’s going on out there, here’s a look at some of the other events for this weekend.
Katy Trail Community Health Center is having its first Annual Golf Tournament fund raiser at the Sedalia Country Club on 9/9/13.
We are seeking sponsors and golf teams to assist in making the event a great success. Sponsors will be recognized on banners and in local paper. Larger sponsors will also have their names on various golf holes and locations at the tournament. All proceeds raised will assist center in providing quality health care services to some of the most needy in our community. If you have questions concerning this event, please contact me Rebecca Mankin at 826-1571 ext. 2 at firstname.lastname@example.org. Thank you in advance for your consideration in this matter.
The Smithton Class of 2014 will have a 5k Run/Walk.
It’ll be held on Saturday, August 10 at 7:30 a.m. The registration begins at 7:00 a.m. at the Smithton City Park. Adult admission is $10 and for children the cost is $5. Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult. Participants under 18 must have a parental signature. For more information contact Cynthia McMullen at 660-553-0690.
Starting on August 10, Boonslick Regional Library will offer help in using computer programs.
The patrons will learn how to use Microsoft Office products, starting with Office and Publisher. This will be offered every other Saturday in the Technology Lab in the lower level. No sign up is necessary and patrons can come as often as they like.
Have a great weekend!
