Just before 5 a.m. this morning (April 8), the Sedalia Police Department’s STING Unit and other officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle with no license plate lights in the area of 16th Street and S. Sedalia Police and the Sedalia STING Unit arrested 22-year-old Kent Cline Jr. after he was found to be driving while suspended on Friday, April 4. Sedalia Police found that Cline had two active Camden County warrants, and while searching him at the jail, found a baggie of cocaine in his pocket.
Two suspects were arrested when detectives with the Sedalia STING Unit Sedalia Police officers served a no-knock drug related search warrant at 414 East 5th St. on Monday morning (March 17).
The Sedalia STING Unit, Sedalia Police, Sedalia Police Narcotics K9 Unit and Pettis County Sheriff's Office served a no-knock, narcotics-related search warrant at 310 East Saline St. on Saturday morning (March 8). Jack Kaufman Jr. was arrested and will face eight drug-related charges as a result of the raid.
A traffic stop in the area of West 7th and South Harrison by Sedalia Police on Wednesday, Feb. 26 resulted in the arrest of 31-year-old Vincent S. The Sedalia STING Unit and Sedalia Police arrested 46-year-old Douglas Burlingame, 24-year-old Laura Martin and 29-year-old Paul Lucito after serving a search warrant at a home at 1025 South Merriam Ave. on Friday (Feb. 21) at 5:22 a.m. A search of the home found methamphetamine, marijuana, prescription pills and drug paraphernalia.
At 5:13 Thursday morning (Feb. 20), the Sedalia Police Department’s STING Unit executed a drug-related search warrant at 1319 South Osage, Apt. #4 . Entry was made to the residence and three occupants were secured. An investigation uncovered methamphetamine, marijuana, and related drug paraphernalia in the apartment.

Around 2:07 Tuesday morning (Feb. 11) detectives with the STING Unit and Patrol Officers responded to 2805 South Ingram Ave., Lot 7, to serve a search warrant. Upon entry to the residence, officers discovered methamphetamine, marijuana, prescription pills, drug paraphernalia, and materials commonly used to package drugs for sale.
