Fugitive From Justice Arrested During Sedalia Traffic Stop
On Thursday around 5:30 p.m., Sedalia Police conducted a traffic stop in the 1500 block of Thompson Boulevard after a wanted subject was seen inside the vehicle.
The wanted subject used the identity of another, despite given multiple chances to properly identify herself.
A fingerprint scanner was used, confirming the identity of 39-year-old Devetta Davis White of Sedalia.
Davis White was wanted on a Pettis County warrant on a charge of 1st degree burglary with a $25,000 cash or surety bond, and an Illinois warrant on a charge of failing to register as a sex offender with no bond.
Davis White was placed on a 24-hour hold, with charges of fugitive from justice and identity theft being requested.
