A Marshall man was injured in a Saline County accident Thursday morning.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, a northbound 2003 Ford F-350 driven by 38-year-old Brad M. Doiron of Marshall was on Missouri 41, north of Route E at 8:13 a.m., when the vehicle began to slide, causing the driver to lose control and travel off the right side of the roadway, then return to the road and the driver overcorrected, causing the vehicle to once again travel off the right side of the road. The vehicle overturned, coming to rest on its top, facing east.

Doiron suffered serious injuries and was transported to university Hospital in Columbia by SCAD. He was not wearing a seat belt, according to the report.

The vehicle was totaled.

Saline County Fire assisted the Patrol at the scene.
