On Tuesday (Sept 5), Sedalia Police responded to the 600 block of S. Ohio Ave. for a suspect with a possible warrant out of Saline County. The warrant was confirmed a short time later and the suspect, 21-year old Wayne A. Gravitt, was arrested and taken to the Pettis County Jail, with a bond of $2,500.


Around 6:00 Tuesday morning (Sept 5), Sedalia Police were dispatched to the 1500 block of S. Mildred Ave. for a reported assault. According to the report, the victim told officers that a woman struck him several times. The suspect, 31-year old Tiffany L. Woolery, was arrested and taken to the Pettis County Jail. A state charge of 4th Degree Domestic Assault is pending.


On Tuesday (Sept 5), Sedalia Police took a theft report in the 300 block of E. Main Street. The victim stated that someone had stolen two radiators, with an estimated value of $1,600. There are no suspects at this time.


Also on Tuesday (Sept 5), Sedalia Police took a report of a theft that allegedly occurred in the 900 block of E. 11th Street. The victim told officers that someone had taken several items from her vehicle. The estimated value of the items was placed at $288. According to the report, there were no signs of forced entry and there are no suspects at this time.
