Sedalia Police Detectives with the Drug Enforcement Unit and Criminal Investigations Bureau, along with Detectives and Deputies with the Pettis County Sheriff's Office arrested two people as the result of an armed robbery investigation.

Detectives made entry into the home via the front door of 2819 Southgate Loop on Monday afternoon (Jan. 12). Five adults were found in the home, along with two children, ages 3 and 4. One subject fled out the door and was apprehended later.

Sedalia Police did locate methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia that were in close proximics to the children and easily accesible. Sedalia Police arrested 45-year-old Donna Hall and 31-year-old Megan Strauch and were charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, 1st degree child endangerment and unlawful transaction with a child.

Hall and Strauch were placed on a 24-hour hold and received a $7,500 cash/surety bond.
