On Tuesday evening, Sedalia Police observed a suspect outside of a home in the 400 block of West 16th Street.

The suspect had two active warrants out of Pettis County. Officers made contact with the suspect and confirmed the warrants with Dispatch.

James A. Byerly, 38, of Sedalia, was arrested for his Probation Violation warrants on original charges of Identity Theft, felony Stalking, and felony Violation of an Order of Protection (2nd Offense).

Byerly was placed under arrest and transported to the Pettis County Jail with no bond.
