69-year-old male driver injured in a rollover accident in Lafayette County

At 10:40 Sunday night the Missouri state Highway Patrol reported a one-vehicle accident on Campbell and Gillespie Road in Lafayette County. The accident reportedly occurred as the driver of a 1989 Ford F150, 69-year-old James C. Ginn of Napoleon Missouri lost control of his vehicle and overturned in the roadway. Ginn suffered moderate injuries; and was transported to Lafayette Regional in Lexington by EMS for treatment.

Pettis County accident Sunday morning injures an 18-year-old Smithton man

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report around 2:15 Sunday morning 18-year-old Alexander Admire of Smithton failed to negotiate a curve on Hopewell Road at Butterbaugh Road in Pettis County. The vehicle overturned causing minor injuries to Admire, who was not wearing his seat belt. Admire refused treatment at the scene.

Teenage girl is injured when she falls asleep at the wheel and runs off the road

At 11:45 Saturday night the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a one-vehicle accident on Lumpee Avenue just South of Cheese Creek Road in Benton County. The accident report states the driver of a 1998 Cadillac, 16-year-old Alyssa Barbour of Cole Camp fell asleep at the wheel and ran off the roadway. The Barbour vehicle then struck a fence. The victim was taken to Bothwell Regional Health Center for treatment of what was described as minor injuries.

Two-vehicle accident reported in Lafayette County Friday evening

Just after 6pm Friday evening the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a two-vehicle injury accident on Missouri Highway 13 at US 24 Highway in Lafayette County. The crash occurred according to the report as the 1991 Jeep driven by 21-year-old Matthew Stewart of Kearney Missouri entered Missouri 13, and attempted to make a left turn, and was struck by the 2003 Mercury Driven by 77-year-old Helen A. Payne of Richmond Missouri. Stewart, and a passenger in his vehicle 20-year-old Kaylee N. Burnett of Lawson sustained minor injuries and were taken to Lafayette County Regional Hospital by EMS for treatment.
