A male and female arrested Tuesday morning for stealing wine

 

At 11:01 Tuesday morning Sedalia Police were dispatched to the Dollar General located at 619 North Ohio on a theft complaint. According to store personnel and witnesses a male and a female sus stole wine from the store. The police report states the suspects were located in Hubbard park a short time later, and arrested. At the time of the police report 50-year-old Steven R. Myers a homeless person was on 24-hour hold in the Pettis County jail pending formal charges. Diane R. Downs also a homeless person was in the Pettis County Jail pending a $533.50 bond.

Warrant check nets a 52-year-old woman Tuesday afternoon

Just before 2pm Tuesday afternoon Sedalia Police conducted a warrant check at a residence in the 500 block of east Chestnut. Upon arrival officers made contact with the suspect, 52-year-old Gertrude Adaline Fletcher of Sedalia. Following confirmation of the warrant she was taken into custody and taken to the Pettis County jail pending a $3500 bond on the warrant.

30-year-old Sedalia man arrested on a probation violation warrant Tuesday

On Tuesday Sedalia Police were dispatched to the 2400 block of West Broadway on a suspect with a probation violation warrant. Upon contact with the suspect identified as 30-year-old Andrew J. Shaw of Sedalia the warrant was confirmed. Shaw was arrested and transported to the Pettis County jail pending a $2500 bond.

Traffic stop results in arrest for a Sedalia man

Just before 7am Tuesday morning Sedalia Police stopped a vehicle at Main and State Fair Blvd. with defective brake lights. A check through dispatch revealed the driver Delfino Antonio Pintor-Medina of Sedalia was suspended. He was arrested and taken to the Pettis County jail where he was booked and released with a court date 

A victim in the 2800 block of Gregory lane filed a complaint Tuesday afternoon, that someone had used his credit card information without his authorization.

Pettis County sheriff’s Reports

On Sunday Pettis County Deputies took a report on illegal dumping, that took place in the 20000 block of Griessen Road. An investigation is ongoing at news time.

A victim in the 2800 block of Meadwood Drive reported items stolen from his residence Sunday. There were no suspects.

On Sunday a female victim reported property damage in the 20000 block of McCubbin Road in the Hughesville area. There was no other information available at news time.
